The quickest and easiest way to unlock the MAC-10 is to play Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer and queue into small maps like Nuketown ’84. Remember to complete each match, too, as leaving early causes issues with progress tracking.
For Warzone, you can either queue into Plunder with an SMG equipped and aggressively push teams or, if you get an SMG in the battle royale warm-up, quickly take out two players waiting for the round to begin.
Best alternatives
The best Warzone MAC-10 loadout excels up close, so if you’re looking for another weapon to fill its spot, there are a few options.
TrueGameData recently said he believes PPSH-41 is even better than the MAC-10, so the PPSH-41 could be a solid alternative. And if you’re looking for a weapon with a ton of bullets in the magazine and can take out multiple enemies quickly in close quarters, the Bullfrog is a solid alternative to the best Warzone MAC-10 loadout.

You can get this weapon earlier than you think.
Call of Duty: Warzone might have gotten a big update with a ton of new weapons, but players can still get plenty of mileage out of the ones that were released a bit earlier, like the Mac-10 SMG.
It’s one of the weapons you unlock fairly early on and is pretty useful for a while, even if it isn’t exactly a top-tier gun when compared to the others you get later on in Season 2.

Still, this is a weapon you will want to decimate the competition early on and it’s not that hard to unlock.
Like the Groza, you won’t have to spend any money to get the Mac-10 on your inventory.
This weapon was unlocked after reaching Tier 15 in the free Battle Pass for Season 1 that is shared between Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
The Mac-10 is fantastic to have since it does a solid amount of damage and has plenty of ammo, being an SMG and all.
With Warzone expected to have a nuke event soon, March 11 if the leakers are to be believed, then players will need all the weapons they can to survive that.
It will be interesting to see if the Mac-10 will be one of those weapons but we wouldn’t be too surprised if it was.
